Man arrested for motor accident involving police officer

COLOMBO (News 1st):- An individual who had knocked down a police constable who was on traffic duty along the Kurunegala - Kandy road has been arrested along with his jeep. The suspect who is due to be presented before the Kurunegala Magistrate Court on the 22nd of January is currently under remand custody. The police officer who was injured on the 08th of January is currently being treated at the ICU of the Kurunegala hospital.
