Daily power consumption demand increases

COLOMBO (News 1st):- The daily power consumption demand has increased. The Media Spokesperson of the Ministry of Power and Renewable Energy, Sulakshana Jayawardene states that daily power consumption has increased by 44 Gigawatts per hour. The situation has occurred due to the islandwide lack of rain. The Ministry further requests the general public to utilize energy conservingly due to the prevailing condition.
