Islandvide Dengue Prevention Program begins

Colombo (News 1st): An islandwide dengue prevention program will commence today (January 7). The main event of the program will be held this morning, centering the Galle district. Specialist Dr. Aruna Jayasekara of the National Dengue Eradication Unit said the program will be held until the 9th of this month. He added special attention will be given towards districts such as Colombo, Gampaha, and Jaffna which usually record a high number of dengue patients.
