Doctor arrested for molesting 4 girls in Ampara

Colombo (News 1st): A doctor attached to the Senarathpura rural hospital in Ampara has been arrested for molesting four students. Police noted that the students have arrived at the hospital for a medical check up they needed to participate in a marathon. According to the complaint lodged by the students, the doctor had sexually abused them during the medical examination. The students are aged 17, 18 and 14. They have been admitted to the Ampara General Hospital for medical examination. The arrested doctor is to be produced before the Ampara Magistrate Court today (January 7).
