Schools open tomorrow for 2020 term one

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The first school term for 2020 for government schools and government-approved private schools will commence tomorrow (January 02). However, the Education Ministry stated that 47 schools used as O/L examination centres will only commence on January 6th. Ministry of Education stated that the issue of the uniform and shoe vouchers will also commence tomorrow. The ministry added that the vouchers have already been sent to the schools and the divisional offices.
