Ethanol imports suspended

Colombo (News 1st): The Ministry of Finance has decided to suspend the import of ethanol. The import of ethanol for liquor production will be suspended from today (January 1) on the directives of Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa as the Minister of Finance, Economic and Policy Development. This move has been made as ethanol is widely produced locally.
