Rajitha files a motion requesting for warrant to be withdrawn

Colombo (News 1st): Former Minister Dr Rajitha Senaratne filed a motion with the court, requesting the warrant issued for his arrest be withdrawn. Colombo Additional Magistrate issued the warrant, after considering the facts presented by the Attorney General's Department and the Criminal Investigations Department. The former minister has been accused of making false statements linked to white vans, during a media briefing that was convened on November 10th.
