Warrant issued to arrest former minister Rajitha Senaratne

COLOMBO(News 1st) - The Colombo Magistrate court has issued a warrant to arrest former minister Rajitha Senaratne. The warrant was issued by the Colombo Additional Magistrate Bandara Nelumdeniya after considering the facts presented by the AG's Department and the CID. The CID requested the court, to issue a warrant based on the instructions by the AG's Department. The Attorney General had advised the Director of the CID to request a warrant from court following a media appearance of Rajitha Senaratne.
