Landslide warnings issued for 3 districts

COLOMBO(News 1st) - The National Building Research Organization has issued a Level 1 yellow alert for Matale, Kandy and Nuwara Eliya districts. The landslide warning which was issued at 8.30 am today will be in effect for 24 hours. Senior Geologist at the  National Building Research Organization, Dr. Wasantha Senadheera stated that locals in these districts should remain vigilant regarding the possibility of landslide and earth slips.
