Suspect arrested with 1Kg of Heroin in Jampettah

Colombo (News 1st): A suspect has been arrested from Jampettah street, Colombo for the possession of over 1kg of Heroin. The Police said the arrest was made by officials attached to the Police Division of Colombo North based on a tip-off received. The suspect had been arrested while transporting the stock of Heroin. The suspect was produced to court yesterday and a detention order has been obtained. Further investigations are underway.
