Two arrested with heroin valued at Rs. 30 mn

COLOMBO (News 1st):- Two suspects were arrested along with 3 kilograms of heroin in their possession at Moragahahena during a raid conducted by the Police Narcotics Bureau. According to the Police, the suspects were arrested while they were transporting the drugs in two vehicles. The stock of heroin that was seized is reported to be valued at Rs. 30 million. The suspects are residents of Kuliyapitiya and Homagama. Steps have been taken to detain the suspects and interrogate them at the Police Narcotics Bureau. Police stated that further investigations will be carried out after obtaining the telephone analysis reports of the suspects. The two vehicles used by the suspects have also been taken into the custody of the Police.
