SLPP controlled Rambewa PS budget defeated

Colombo (News 1st) - The budget of the SLPP controlled Rambewa Pradeshiya Saba was defeated yesterday. The budget was presented before the pradeshiya sabah and members of PS were asked to vote on it. Only 3 votes were cast in favor of the budget while an overwhelming 16 votes were cast against it. Thereby the budget of the Rambewa PS was defeated with a majority of 13 votes. All 6 members of the SLPP in the PS also voted against the budget.
