Six member committee makes recommendations for State Institution Heads

Colombo (News 1st): Recommendations for the appointment of about 40 Heads of State Institutions have been sent to the Secretary to the President. The recommendations have been made by the six-member panel appointed to nominate suitable persons to hold these positions. Committee member Dr. Nalaka Godahewa stated that three nominees have been submitted for each position, adding that the appointments will be finalized next week. Dr. Godahewa added that a recommendation had been made to combine institutions that came under the same subject. The committee had been informed to make their recommendations prior to the 18th of December.
