Upcountry railway track to be restored by tonight

COLOMBO(News 1st) - The Railways Department states that the upcountry railway track which was blocked due to earth slips will be restored by tonight. The Railways General Manager, Dilantha Fernando said that the railway track at Oboda-Ella, where the earth slip took place, is currently being restored with the support of the Army. Dilantha Fernando said bus services are in operation between Bandarawela and Diyatalawa stations to transport train passengers to the next stations.
