Six injured in an accident along Kurunegala - Ridigama road

Colombo (News 1st): Six people were injured following an accident that occurred at the Uyandana area along the Kurunegala - Ridigama road. The accident had occurred when the van transporting workers to a garment factory from Kurunegala to Ridigama collided with a car travelling in the same direction. Police suspect the accident had occurred as a result of speeding. The injured are currently receiving treatment at the Kurunegala Teaching Hospital while the hospital sources say one of the injured is in critical condition.
