Colombo (News 1st): The first Cabinet Meeting of the new government will take place tomorrow (November 27), under the patronage of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa. Several cabinet proposals deemed urgent would be presented to the Cabinet tomorrow and among them is the proposal to issue vouchers instead of uniforms for students for 2020.

Additional Education Secretary M.M. Ratnayake said, since there isn’t insufficient time to issue uniforms to school students, attention was drawn to issue vouchers for students instead.
