Colombo (News 1st): The Central Committee of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party is due to convene later today (November 21), under the leadership of Chairman, former President Maithripala Sirisena. Senior Deputy Chairman of the Party Rohana Lakshman Piyadasa stated that they are set to discuss the party’s future plans including party reforms and elections.
Party Spokesman Weerakumara Dissanayake also stated that the party will have discussions on the holding of positions in a government under President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and that they are due to discuss the matter with the President as well.
