Appointment of Oshada Senanayake to Telecommunications Regulatory Commission is false

COLOMBO(News 1st) - The President's Media Division Website reported today (November 19) that Oshada Senanayake has been appointed as the Director-General of the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka. However, this evening the Director-General of the Government Information Department Nalaka Kaluwewa said that this report was incorrect and added that according to the President's Office, suitable candidates are still being considered for the position at present.
