Fast by Venerable Inguruwatte Sumangala Thero on GR's citizenship continues

Colombo (News 1st): The fast launched by Venerable Dr. Inguruwatte Sumangala Thero, demanding Gotabaya Rajapaksa to prove his citizenship, is underway for the 3rd day today (November 12). Speaking to the media the Thero noted that they questioned Gotabaya Rajapaksa's citizenship, however, they still have no definitive answer as to whether he is a Sri Lankan citizen or an American citizen. Inguruwatte Sumangala Thero noted that if his ambition is to be a pure leader, he should have come here prove to me that he is not an American citizen if not, he (Gotabaya) should have notified him (Thero) through the US Embassy that he renounced his US citizenship. The Thero went onto note that he made a drastic decision today to not even drink a sip of water until Gotabaya Rajapaksa arrives to explains the facts to him.
