Royal Park murder: Jude Anthony receives presidential pardon

COLOMBO(News 1st) - The convicted of the infamous Royal Park murder, Jude Anthony Jayamaha, who had received the death sentence for the murder of 19-year-old Yvonne Johnson, has been granted the Presidential Pardon. The convict Shramantha Jude Anthony Jayamaha, who was sentenced to death in 2012 by the Colombo High Court, was imprisoned at the Kuruvita Prison. According to the sources, the convict left the Prison premises yesterday(November 09) evening as a free man.
