Prison warden arrested with narcotics

Colombo (News 1st): A Prison Warden has been arrested while in possession of narcotics by the Police Special Task Force at the Angunukolapelessa Prison gate. Police Spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekara said STF personnel carried out the arrest following a tip-off received. They found over 10 grams of Heroin, 14 grams of Marijuana and more than 27 grams of narcotic pills in his possession. The arrested Prison Warden is due to be produced before the Agnukolapallassa Magistrate Court today (November 7).
