Colombo (News 1st): Police media Spokesperson Ruwan Gunasekara noted that 35,700 suspects have been arrested for drug trafficking during the past 10 months. He added that the arrests were made by the Police Narcotics Bureau, Police stations across the country, Police Special Task Force, Sri Lanka Navy and other institutions.

He noted that during the 10 month time period they have seized 1638.397 kilograms of heroin.
