Meeting between Presidential Candidates and NEC

Colombo (News 1st): A special discussion is to be held today (October 29) between the candidates, their representatives, party secretaries, and the National Elections Commission. Commissioner-General of the NEC Saman Sri Ratnayake noted that the meeting will be held at 10.30 AM.

He said that several issues pertaining to the upcoming presidential election will be discussed. Meanwhile, the elections commission stated that they had received 1923 complaints, regarding election-related activities.
