Azath Salley pledges his support to Sajith Premadasa

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Leader of the National Unity Front Azath Salley has pledged his support to Presidential Candidate of the New Democratic Front Sajith Premadasa. Azath Salley met with Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe at the Temple Trees this morning and pledged his support. Azath Salley, Leader of the National Unity Front: "The National Unity Front extensively discussed who we should support. We unanimously agreed that we can't support murderers and those who initiated the white van culture. We can't support Mahinda Rajapaksa who constantly says that the minority communities should be destroyed. We can't support Mahinda Rajapaksa who says there are swords in mosques and who says Madrasas will be raided. So as a party we decided to support the Presidential candidate of the NDF Sajith Premadasa. We met with the leader of the party and conveyed our message. All our supporters will work towards the victory of the Deputy Leader of the United National Party Sajith Premadasa."
