All Tamil medium schools to close on Monday on account of Deepavali

Colombo (News 1st): All Tamil medium schools except Muslim schools will be closed this coming Monday. The Ministry of Education said this decision was taken due to the Deepavali festival on Sunday. The Ministry further said Principals of schools were given instructions to pick an alternative day for the school to cover for the given holiday.
