17 gold biscuits recovered at the BIA

Colombo (News 1st) - An individual who attempted to smuggle in over 1.5kg of Gold into the country was arrested at the BIA by the police narcotics unit.
According to the Police, the suspect is a 33-year-old resident of Negambo who returned to the country from Dubai.
The police took into custody a total of 17 gold biscuits from the suspect, the haul of recovered gold weighed 1.7kg.
