Colombo (News 1st): A suspect has been arrested for attempting to bribe a Police officer at the Police station in Dambulla.

According to the police, the suspect had attempted to offer a bribe of Rs. 10,000, in exchange for expediting a heroin case that is being heard at the Dambulla Magistrate Court.

The suspect is a 41-year-old resident of Dambulla. He is due to be presented before the Dambulla Magistrate Court today (October 10).
