12-hour water cut in several areas

Colombo (News 1st): The National Water Supply and Drainage Board noted that a 12-hour water cut will be imposed across a number of areas from 8:00 am today (October 9). Accordingly, Wadduwa, Waskaduwa, Pothupitiya, Kalutara North and South, Katukurunda, Nagoda, Payaagala, Pilaminawatta, Bombuwala, Maggona, Beruwala, Kaluwamodara, Moragalla, Aluthgama, Darganaagaraya, and Bentota will experience an interruption in the supply of water. The National Water Supply and Drainage Board announced that the water supply to the Kotahena Water Treatment Plant has been cut off due to essential maintenance work of the Ceylon Electricity Board.
