Colombo (News1st): The National Water Supply and Drainage Board says a 24-hour water cut will be imposed across a number of areas from 8 AM today (October 8).

Accordingly, the Wattala, Paliyagoda, Jaela, Katunayaka, Seeduwa Urban Council areas will experience an interruption in the supply of water.

Meanwhile, the Kelaniya, Wattala, Biyagama, Mahara, Dompe and Ja-Ela Pradeshiya Sabha areas will also experience an interruption to their supply of water.

Furthermore, the Gampaha Pradeshiya Sabha area, Rathupaswala, and Imbulpe will also experience a 24-hour water cut from 8 am today.

This is due to work on Phase 2 of the Kelani River Southern Bank Project.
