Non-Academic staff strike enters day 26

Colombo (News 1st): The National Salaries and Cadre Commission states that a report on the removal of salary anomalies of university non-academic staff will be submitted to the Cabinet within a month. Meanwhile, Secretary to the Ministry of Higher Education M.M.P.K. Mayadunne said that he has informed the Commission to take immediate steps to remove the salary anomalies of the university non-academic staff. The strike launched by university non-academic staff enters its 26th days today.
