Sisu Dham Sewana will help Buddhism flourish in Sri Lanka -Minister Sajith Premadasa

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A Dhamma school building constructed under the Sisu Dham Sewana program in Nawagaththegama Puttlam was declared open today (September 23). The event was held under the auspices of Deputy Leader of the United National Party Minister Sajith Premadasa. Minister Sajith Premadasa declared open the Sri Sudarshana Dhamma school building at the Nawagaththegama Maha-maddawe Weheragala Purana Viharaya. The building was constructed at an expense of Rs 4mn provided by the Central Cultural Fund. Minister Sajith Premadasa noted that he is not merely speaking of Buddhism and that he intends to ensure the protection of the Buddha Sasana. He added that the Sisu Daham Sewana program is beyond typical conversations on Buddhism, and it is an ideal program to develop Buddhism. He further added that via this program a generation of children who are pious, just and respectable can be produced for the society which would ultimately flourish the Buddha Sasana forever.
