Colombo(News 1st) – Senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party in India, Subramanian Swamy, revealed that  17 branches of the organization named RSS are in operation in Sri Lanka, during his visit for Namal Rajapaksa’s wedding.

Defence Analyst, Retired Lieutenant Colonel Susantha Seneviratne stated that the main intention of the RSS is to spread Hinduism and to eradicate any ideology that opposes those of Hinduism. The main reason that compelled to have the RSS sent was to find out what is happening in Sri Lanka, he continued. He further added that the Indian RAW organization and the Indian secret service usually maintain close ties with such organizations. He further alluded to the statements made on the information about the April 21st attack being initially provided from India. “The question here is how did the RAW organization provide such information about the April 21st attack? If you take a look at such suicide attacks throughout history, nowhere have they ever provided information about the attack prior to it”, he reasoned. He noted that gathering information might be one reason why the Indians stationed with RSS  in Sri Lanka and not completely due to an attack, or to create chaos. “At a time where Sri Lanka is caught up in-between much attention by international powers, this might be an attempt to create more chaos inside the country and turn that situation to the benefit of these foreign powers”, he continued.
