Nissanka Senadhipathi: About 4000 people have lost their jobs because of this. They have lost their houses and their children have lost their schools. They have lost everything. Dilrukshi Dias: Because I never expected the business to stop because that was one of the best businesses in the country. I know Nissanka, if I ever had the slightest knowledge, if I ever thought that something like this would happen, I don't know if you will believe me or not, Nissanka Senadhipathi: I got two messages sent by you madam Dilrukshi Dias: If I ever thought that you will lose your business, I would have never filed this case, because of this dirty politics. I have read over 7500 letters at your office. I have personally read all of it. So I know how you looked after your officers on the ship and how you looked after their families. I was very sad. I will not file an action against Gotabaya Rajapaksa. I regret everything that I did then. I know how to break the law and make the law both.
Rambukwella went onto note that Dilrukshi Dias is implying that she did it because of the orders of dirty politicians. He believes that she was looking at an opportunity to contest the election as well. He added that it is when she was looking to contest that the UNP was sending this across the country. When inquired on the voice clip the Attorney General's Department said that a statement will be made on Monday (September 22).
