COLOMBO (News 1st) – Deputy Leader of the United National Party Minister Sajith Premadasa visited Tangalle today (September 18) to present grants to 2762 families under the Samata Sevana mobile program at an expense of Rs 308.9mn.
Minister Sajith Premadasa noted that the opposition is not familiar with the cries and woes of the common man as they hold most of their discussion in comfortable rooms. He questioned the public whether they are prepared to give their mandate to a minority who is not down to earth or whether they are prepared to enter a revolutionary development phase which the country deserves?
He went on to note that he is a democrat and he knows what the general public wants today.
