Colombo (News 1st) Another phase of the Sirasata Visi-Pahai Vihararam Visi-Pahai program took place.  The opening of the renovated Ata-Wisi Buddha Mandirya and Bodhi Wall at the Sri Niketha Jinachakra Temple in Walgampura, Ampara took place yesterday.

The event was graced by Nihal Wickrama Edirisooriya, Director of Music for Sirasa FM. S-lon Lanka (Pvt) Ltd supported the construction of the Bodhi Wall and Nuwan Wickramapathirana, the Brand Manager for S-lon Lanka (Pvt) Ltd was also present at the event.

Speaking at the event, Nihal Wickrama Edirisooriya stated that they are aware of the hardships faced by the rural temples and village and it is impossible for them to simply look at it. “There were shortcomings but we will do whatever we can”, he added.
