Palitha Thewarapperuma and his accomplices granted bail

COLOMBO (News 1st) - United National Party MP, Palitha Thevarapperuma and 05 others have been granted bail by the Matugama Magistrate court. After the group produced themselves to court on the 10th of last month, Matugama Magistrate N.H.H. Halpandeniya ordered them to be remanded until today (September 16) for forcibly burying a dead body and violating a court order. The Deputy Minister and the 05 others were arrested for proceeding with the burial of a body at the Troit estate, against a court order.
