Over 10,000 state instiutions with no land deeds - Land Commissioner General's Department

COLOMBO (News 1st):- The Land Commissioner General's Department states that over 10,000 state institutions constructed in state-owned land have not obtained land deeds as yet. The Land Commissioner General Chandra Herath says that the presentation of land deeds in a formal manner has already commenced. 300 such land deeds have been presented within the past two years. The department further states that a program to provide land deeds for 600 temples constructed in state-owned lands has also commenced. 425 such temples have already been granted with land deeds.
