Three suspects arrested over fuel station robbery at Horogolla

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Three suspects were arrested from Ocharwatta, Nittambuwa. The suspects are charged with the robbery of Rs 405,000 in April from a fuel station in Horogolla. According to the police, a locally manufactured firearm (Galkatas) was recovered from the possession of the suspects. Police had also recovered the masks, jackets and gloves among other things which were used in the robbery. The suspects were arrested based on a tip-off received by the Peliyagoda District Crime Division and they are to be handed over to the Nittambula Police Division for further investigations.
