282nd Samata Sevana model village declared open

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The 282nd model village built under the 'Samata Sevana' program was declared open today. This village which was built in the Nawagattegama, Amunuwewa area at an expense of Rs. 52mn has been named Ranminipura. Deputy Leader of the United National Party Sajith Premadasa declared open the model village this morning. Parliamentarian Palitha Range Bandara and a group of public representatives were present on the occasion. Minister Sajith Premadasa, Deputy Leader of the UNP noted that he would put an end to the era where all the rulers benefit from the luxuries of life. He pledged that he would not involve any of his relatives following this November. He added that he would welcome academics, intelligent, smart and innovative people to his government and he needed workaholics with a new vision to lead this country to a new era. UNP MP, Palitha Range Bandara, noted that Minister Sajith Premadasa was the ideal candidate for the country and the people.
