COLOMBO (News 1st):- The National Authority on Tobacco and Alcohol states that an islandwide survey on the usage of tobacco and alcohol will commence next month.

Chairman of the Authority, Specialist Dr. Palitha Abeykoon said that the survey will be conducted through the Department of Census and Statistics.

He further said that a preliminary test phase of this survey, that is being held under the guidance of the World Health Organization, occurred last week.
