Colombo (News1st) -A Thirappane Pradeshiya Sabha member was arrested for assaulting an individual. The arrested PS member named Thilak Rajakaruna represents the Eksath Lanka Maha Saba Party.

He is a resident of the Kattamurichchana, Maradankadawala and he is to be produced before the Kekirawa Magistrate Court today (September 09).

The victim is being treated at the Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital.
