UPFA will field a presidential candidate - MP Dayasiri Jayasekara

COLOMBO (News 1st) - General of SLFP, Dayasiri Jayasekara stated that they would field a candidate from UPFA for the upcoming presidential election. He expressed this view on the Satana program on Sirasa FM. In addition, he stated that  Manoj Sirisena will assume the parliamentary seat left vacant due to the demise of MP Chandrasiri Gajadhira. Manoj Sirisena acted as the former Southern Province Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, Social and Cultural Affairs, Public Welfare, Probation and Child Services, Home Economics, Housing and Development, and Labour and Employment.
