COLOMBO (News 1st):- During the special convention of the UNP provincial councilors that is currently ongoing at the Sugathadasa Indoor stadium, unanimous approval was granted to a motion to name Sajith Premadasa as the UNP’s Presidential candidate.

This motion was forwarded by the Chairman of the Mahiyanganaya Pradeshiya Sabha and was seconded by the Chairman of the Seruwawila Pradeshiya Sabhawa.
