Pinnawala elephant orphanage employees on strike

COLOMBO (News 1st):- Employees engaging in taking care of the elephants at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage have pulled back from their activities. The decision was taken following an incident where a certain individual had verbally abused the employees of the Pinnawala elephant orphanage. The employees urge that until and unless necessary legal measures are implemented against the said individual that they will continue to refrain from their tasks.
