Tourist police receives only 20 complaints in 2019

Colombo (News 1st): The tourist police today (September 05) told the media that over the course of the year so far, that 20 complaints have been received. Most of these complaints are with regard to misplacements. The Tourist Police also added that this year has seen a significant decrease in the number of complaints. They also stated that plans are afoot to have new units of the tourist police stationed in different areas, centered around Dikwella, Yala, Tissamaharama, Kalpitiya, Nilaveli, Dambulla, and Sembuwatta.
