Colombo (News1st) – Chairman of National Elections Commission Mahinda Deshapriya commented on the Presidential Election today (September 3), at Kalutara.
He stated that the Presidential Election would take place between November 15th and December 7th. He added that the Commission will be vested with the power of calling for nominations by the 15th or 16th of September. He further noted that Commission is able to call for nominations on a day it desires and the polls could take place within the timetable.
