42 Police officers transferred with approval from NPC

Colombo (News 1st): 42 ASPs, Chief Inspectors and Inspectors were given transfers with approval from the National Police Commission. 05 Assistant Superintendents of Police namely, S.K.A Bandara, M.R.M.S Kumarasiri, D.R. Thalagala, Y.W. Wanninayake and E.L.M. Chandrasena Banda were given transfers. In addition, 14 Chief Inspectors and 23 Inspectors of Police were given transfers as well. The Police Media Unit said the transfers were made based on service requirements with approval from the National Police Commission.
