Giving Sight Foundation of Sri Lanka donates 65 human corneas to Pakistan

COLOMBO (News 1st):- At the initiative of the Sri Lanka High Commission in Islamabad, Giving Sight Foundation of Sri Lanka donated 65 human corneas to the people of Pakistan. Sri Lanka High Commissioner in Pakistan Noordeen Mohamed Shahid together with a delegation Giving Sight Foundation of Sri Lanka met with Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan. The Pakistani Prime Minister while appreciating the gesture stated that the initiative to provide corneas is a meritorious act that would enable people to regain their eyesight. The Prime Minister also expressed satisfaction over the growing connectivity between the people of both nations.
