"We will name the candidate once the alliance is formed" : Min. Navin Dissanayake

Colombo (News 1st): An event was held yesterday (August 27) in commemoration of 25 years since the establishment of the Kalubowitiyaana Tea Factory. The event was held under the patronage of the Minister of Plantation Industries, Navin Dissanayake. Speaking to the media after the event he noted that they intend to name their Presidential candidate on the day of their alliance is formed. He noted that their plan was to announce the candidate by the 2nd or 3rd week of September. He added that according to their plan, prominence will be given to forming the alliance and everyone accepts it.
