Weapons and explosives discovered in Palai

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The TID has been able to recover an AK-47 firearm, 2 magazines, 120 rounds of live ammunition, 11 hand grenades and 10kg of the PE 10 explosive from the Karandiya area in Palai. According to the police media spokesperson the weapons and explosives were discovered based on information provided by the JMO of the Palai Hospital who is currently being detained at the Jaffna Police Station and being interrogated by the TID.
